Ann Hamilton: habitus
The book documents the artist’s multi-venue exhibition of site-specific artwork at The Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia. The immersive, full-bleed photography is printed on tactile newsprint paper that alludes to the textile-based artworks and creates an intimate experience similar to that of an artists’ book. The bookbinding gauze, a structural element of the cover that is usually hidden, is exposed on the spine of the book.
