Andy Warhol’s seminal experimental film The Chelsea Girls is given an encyclopedic treatment in this definitive publication. The effect of the double-screen film is alluded to in the layout, where hundreds of sequential stills from each of the twelve reels (six on each side) were chosen to represent the narrative. Underneath the images, the complete transcript of the dialogue is reproduced.
